CareVoy, operated by APB Ventures LLC, respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

a. Personal Information

  • Email address
  • Phone number: used for account verification via one-time passcode (OTP) and transactional ride notifications. Users consent to SMS communications at account creation. Reply STOP to any message to opt out.
  • Pickup/drop-off details

SMS / Text Messaging

By providing your mobile number at the CareVoy sign-in screen, you consent to receive text messages from CareVoy, including one-time verification codes and transactional ride updates (booking confirmations, driver assignment, arrival, and completion). Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

We do not sell or share mobile opt-in information, phone numbers collected for SMS, or SMS consent with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information collected as part of the SMS consent process will not be shared with any third parties.

b. Health-Related Information (if applicable)

  • Appointment-related details
  • Mobility or assistance needs

We only collect what is necessary to coordinate transportation.

3. How We Use Information

We use your information to:

  • Schedule and manage rides

We take reasonable measures to protect your data. However, no system is completely secure.

Data Storage: All CareVoy data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure operated by Supabase (PostgreSQL database) with servers located in the United States (AWS us-east-1 region). Access to production databases is restricted via row-level security policies, ensuring users can only access their own data. We use iOS Keychain for secure storage of authentication tokens on mobile devices.

6. HIPAA Notice

CareVoy is not currently a covered entity under HIPAA. However, we aim to handle health-related information responsibly. If working with healthcare providers, additional agreements (such as a BAA) may apply.

7. Data Retention

We retain information only as long as necessary for:

  • Service delivery
  • Legal obligations

8. Your Rights

You may:

  • Request deletion (where applicable)
